Blaze Belt Obituary

Blaze Austin Belt, 20, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
He was born July 13, 2000, in Jefferson City, son of James Adam Belt and Kora Marie (Davis).
Blaze attended Tipton High School, graduating in 2019. While in high school, he played football and attended Vo-Tech at State Fair Community College.
Blaze was employed by Fidus Construction. He lived for dirt track racing and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Blaze, although stubborn, had a big heart, was a devoted friend, and was willing to help anybody.
Surviving are his father, Adam Belt, of Syracuse; his mother, Kora Belt, of Sunrise Beach; two brothers, Blane Belt and Gaige Belt; his paternal grandparents, Don Belt and Donna Adams; his maternal grandmother, Karrie Craig; several aunts, uncles and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Chris Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Fortuna Baptist Church, with Rev. Brad Homan officiating.
There will be no formal visitation, however, friends may pay their respects and sign the guest book from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021, at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.
Casket bearers will be Adam Belt, Blane Belt, Gaige Belt, Don Belt, Paul Neel and Ray Belt.
Honorary bearers will be Sean Langton and Loren Rockett.
Memorials are suggested to the family, in care of Meisenheimer Funeral Home.
