Joseph Tracy LeMaire
SEDALIA — Joseph Tracy LeMaire, 58 of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
He was born on March 5, 1959 in Sedalia, MO the son of Joseph Ray "Frenchie" and Rosa "Earlene" Riley LeMaire, who preceded him in death.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved to cook Cajun Cuisine and turned his passion into LeMaire's Cajun Catfish and Seafood House. The restaurant had humble beginnings, as he sold seafood from the tailgate of his truck. He was a hard worker and dedicated himself to serving his customers. He was a family man and very proud of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two daughters, Susan Sheppard (Christopher "Storm") of Sedalia and Tina Graham (Dameon Hiner) of Peculiar, MO; five grandchildren and his significant other Karen Thomas.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Abey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Rev. Tony Chapman officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, March 27, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel.
There will be a private family burial at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Joe,
You will be greatly missed. We had a special friendship that no one else could quite understand. We shared some awesome times...hunting, fishing, at times as room mates, and just being there for each other in times of despair.
My sympathy goes out to the family, and friends. I share your sadness on this day.
