Kenneth A. Romig

1950 - 2021

Kenneth A. Romig, 71, of Smithton, MO passed away September 22, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born on March 5, 1950 in Sedalia, MO the son of Kenneth Otto and Dorothy Frances (Spinkle) Romig, who preceded him in death.
On October 19, 1990, at Olive Branch Baptist Church he was united in marriage to Betty Ann Romig, who resides in the home.
Ken worked for Duke Manufacturing as Lead Linesman for approximately 25 years. He made many Subway tables. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and attended Longwood Presbyterian Church. Ken loved fishing with his buddies and his grandchildren and being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and collector of Red Farmall tractors.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Tanya Romig (Arzanda) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Tiffany Romig (Steven) of Wooldridge, MO; six grandchildren, Drakius, Tallen, Emile, Bayli, Reed, and Adaline; and many cousins and fishing buddies.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roberta Karchner officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Family requests masks be worn at services.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.
Pallbearers will be Arzanda Washington, Drakius Romig-Washington, Tallen Romig-Washington, J.R. Greer, Jerry Shull, and Tommy Summers.
Honorary bearers will be David Boul, Mike Bunch, Greg Caudle, and Tony Jenkins.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Carmel Cemetery Association or to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
