Allen Ruble Obituary

Allen Ruble, 68, died Thursday, April 6, 2023 at his home in Shelbyville. He had been a life-long farmer and had served the people of Shelby County as its 3rd District magistrate for 12 years. He also had worked locally at Omega Plastics and Katayama. He was a member of Simpsonville Baptist Church. He was an U.S. Navy veteran and had been a Master Mason at the Solomon Masonic Lodge #5. He was a loving husband and dad, a dedicated grandfather, a great hard worker, and a good Christian man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, G.T. Ruble and "Cookie" Ruble. He is survived by his wife, Alana Ruble of Shelbyville; his daughters, Sara Hedges (Justin) and Christina Ruble, both of Shelbyville; his grandsons, Miles and Eli Hedges, both of Shelbyville; and his brother, Tom Ruble (Jewelle) of Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Boyd officiating. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Simpsonville Cemetery.

Expression of sympathy may be made to the Simpsonville Baptist Church Building Fund.
