Gaylord West, 79, of Roland, died on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, in Roland. He was born on June 3, 1946, in Roland to Clarence West and Joie (Krumsieck) Towzen.
No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
He worked for Baldor Electric Company. He enjoyed coon hunting, riding his mule and being around animals.
Survivors include two sons, Reggie West and Jefferson West both of Oklahoma City; three brothers, JR West of Hot Springs, Ark., Barry West of Roland and Mickey West of Tulsa; one grandson; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Chopper; and one brother, Bill Burrows.
