One time when George was sick, I thought he was in trouble. I agonized at calling the Perez house at 3am I finally called Adan and told him he needed to check on George (downstairs) that I thought he was in distress. He told me George was asleep. I insisted he go downstairs and check anyway. Five minutes later he came back to the phone and told me George was fine and asleep, that I should be too
The next day I called Adan to apologize for waking him the night before, but I explained that I was sure George needed some help. He told me I called in love and that he loved me for that. He also added, I could call him anytime during the day, too!
I have thought of this story often and it always brings a smile to my face. Adan was a sweet man, a loving family man with a quick wit RIP my friend.

Perez Family,
May you find comfort in knowing that this strong believer in Christ will be with you when we are all called to His banquet on the last day. Until then may he sleep secure with peace.

Adan and his family made me feel like part of their family. He was a hard working and such a family man. They would take me on their family vacations, like I was part of their wonderful family. I think of them a lot, they really helped me though troubled times I had at home.
I remember that Adan and Jacinto, George came to my home , when I got married and build the most wonderful fence in my backyard. He did this out of the goodness of his hart. To Jacinto and Felix , Linda , Renee( and all the grandkids) My thoughts and prays are with you. Tim Konomos

I have been away from All Souls for quite a while, however, I was secretary at All Souls for 25 years. Both Msgr. Gallagher and Sister Anton spoke highly of Adan. He was a very happy person doing his work for St. Vincent de Paul for so many years. He devoted himself first for his family and second for those in need. He will be missed. Sadly, Dean Balestieri
