Al was a great personal friend ,as well as, a great friend of law enforcement, particularly the CHP. I will miss him and his great stories of his life in San Francisco. He was one of those special people ,who only comes around once in your life,if you were lucky enough, to have had him as a friend.

Al was always there for you; always ready to help...didn't matter if you were a "big shot" or a little guy..he treated you the same..with respect and genuine caring and interest. I remember him from so long ago, his campaigns for office; the homemade billboard he had , bigger than life, on the side of Ayoob's truck. I remember him lately, too, at our last year's "November Babies" party, younger in spirit than many in the room, a little more than half his age. What a guy! Just Terrific, that's all, just Terrific!

Al, was an inspiration at age 75 having both Knees replaced. As he continued to serve and set an example for us all. The world truly is a better place because of his service.

For more than 40 years, Al Graf was a leader in the bail industry and a good friend to all who knew him. His close relationship with Associated Bond, AIA and, in particular, the Nairin family transcended business. Al Graf was family to us. We shared many great moments, both professionally and personally. We will all miss his humor, insight, and most of all his love of life. Our most sincere thoughts and prayers are with Al’s family at this time of loss. Love and wishes, The Nairin Family and the staff and management of AIA and Associated Bond.
