A highly respected surgeon in the Marin medical community for decades, kind and gracious. Superior clinical and diagnostic skills always seemed to be at MGH. Albert Hall had the kind of dedication that is rarely seen. May his memory be a blessing

He was always kind and gracious to me (at the time, a ward clerk at Marin General) and he was admired by everyone I knew on our staff. A good man who cared deeply for his patients and no doubt saved many lives. The best!

I met Dr. Hall in 1982 at Marin General as a new nurse on the Surgical floor. It's true that he kept very late hours only to be in surgery at the break of dawn.
He was a very kind man, had a lovely smile and was well respected and beloved by all. I'm honored to have worked with him. My sympathies to the Hall family.

RIP, Dr. Hall.
I so enjoyed working with you over the years. I found you to be the epitome of intelligence, professionalism, humor, and old-world charm. I especially enjoyed entertaining you with my sky-diving stories.
Dr. Hall is in heaven graciously teaching the angels how to be the best at what they’re doing.

After transferring to UCSF as a resident, Dr. Hall was among the first attendings I worked with. I deeply appreciated Dr. Hall's wisdom, judgement, calmness and patience which was just what I needed as a "newbie" from Chicago.

He was absolutely a fantastic doctor. He sensed when you were nervous and was very calming. I had thyroid cancer and he was the best.
I had the pleasure of meeting his wife too. A fantastic couple
He will be missed!!! One of the best!!

I’m very grateful for Dr.Hall’s medical curiosity and brilliance. Very late in the night he came into my hospital room, he was not my doctor, he asked me a lot of questions and told me what he thought he knew what was wrong with me. The next morning he got me an appointment to see a prominent surgeon at UCSF, who concluded Dr. Hall had made a correct diagnosis. I was 29 years old and owe my healthy life to Dr. Hall.
