Born June 16, 1925, in San Francisco, the city he loved, and passed away on April 29, 2014 in Yountville. After serving in the Army Air Corps in WWII, he earned his degree in Industrial Psychology at SFSU.
Mr. Reyff's career in the California State Labor Commissioner's Office spanned 45 years. He worked under seven governors in appointed positions and skillfully bridged the gap between Republicans and Democrats, labor and management. He was well respected by both sides.
Mr. Reyff's first wife, Margaret, passed in 1990. Together, they had four children, Michael, James, Shelly, and Timothy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and his wife of twenty years, Karla.
Mr. Reyff was a gentleman, kind, easy going, fair, and liked by everyone. Those who knew him will miss his quick wit, Irish sense of humor and good company.
At Mr. Reyff's request, there will be no services.
