Amelia Nunes Obituary

Amelia Rose Nunes
Amelia R. Nunes passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. Loving daughter of the late Beneditto and Maria Leveroni. Beloved wife of the late Edward Nunes and loving mother of Marianne Low Harader, and the late Paul Nunes, dear mother in law to the late Ray Low and Andy Harader, Godmother to Jeff Leveroni, sister to the late Anita (John), Mario (Louise), Lena, (Domingo), Charles (Emma), Albert (Helen), and Ben (Nella). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Amelia was also known as Mel. Her vocation was in the printing business. She and Edward started a printing company in the mid 1940's, Century Business Forms. She was the visionary behind the company, always identifying new markets. The company grew to a staff of 125 people. After the business was sold she acted as a consultant to many printing companies and guided many people.
She was a beautiful lady with a strong and sparkling spirit. She felt if you worked hard enough you could accomplish anything. She was a feminist before her time.
The family would like to acknowledge Dr. Justin Fong for his wonderful care, and the caregivers at Irish Help at Home.
A rosary and funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Brendan's Church at 10:30am on Tuesday October 7, 2025. Burial to immediately follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Jude’s.

To have lived a life so gracefully and to have enjoyed friends, family & and an entrepreneurial manner even before the days when it was vogue to be a woman in business, Mel was an impressive woman. Her daughter - our dear friend - is a chip off the `ole block....
Mel lived a life only one could dream of...
Sending good prayers and wishes. We´ll see you at St. Brendan´s.
