Andy was true friend and a great mentor, he took me out of the design department and made me a salesman. I was vey successful because of his influence and did it my over 30 years with the Austin Company and other top design and construction Companies in Southern California.

Andy was a major influence in my professional life. I will never forget him. A very smart, very successful businessman and a true leader who inspired those that worked with him to do their best. I feel fortunate to have known and worked with him. May he rest in peace.

Andy was a true titan of fun & grace -- the perfect combination for a man equally comfortable making the perfect Old Fashion cocktail & dining in the finest restaurants, as being "out among 'em" at the ballpark cheering on the San Francisco Giants hot dog in hand.
We forever hold dear our many outdoor adventures skiing in Mammoth & Telluride with Andy at the helm, as well as sharing so many lovely evenings listening to Andy's favorite jazz and hearing about his impressive role with several enormous engineering companies overseeing landmark global projects
(such as the Chunnel under the English Channel).
We will dearly miss Andy and yet so grateful that he and Nancy had the opportunity to mark their 50th wedding anniversary throughout last year, with a marvelous trip to Maui and other lovely celebrations. Andy's infectious smile and memorable laugh linger with us still, punctuating a life well lived with an exclamation point.
Sending our love to Nancy, Jenny & Scott, and many raised toasts to Andy --
Lauri & Mike Mendenhall

We were lucky to bask in the warmth of Andy's friendship and love. A wanna be Cubs fan who, after one more debacle, finally threw down his cap, picked up a SF Giants cap, and never looked back! We will miss his delighted laugh, piercing whistle, and sweet geniality. You always felt good with Andy in your corner. Love to Andy and Nancy and Jenny and Scott.
