Antoni was a fearless and honorable man. The first of four brothers, not only could he shoulder his family's war burden, he could lift other men's spirits. He brought his strength, clarity and love to his adopted United States and leaves this world a proud American patriot. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I was lucky to know Antonios.
I just arrived in US and he treated me like a nephew. It was a pleasure to spend my time with him listening his stories.
His smile will be always in my memories.

This is one of the most beautiful Obituaries I have ever read, for one of the most amazing and inspiring people I have ever met. I never heard Mr. Kounalakis complain about anything, he always was filled with appreciation and love for everyone around him. He will be surely missed. This is a very sad week. We have solace being certain that he is now an Angel and that his spirit will always be alive amongst us ❤

One of the most honorable man I have ever known he always made time to listen to any one with a problem and offer them a word of advice knowledgeable in many fields and a modivater to those that needed that extra push to realize the full potential. To many of us theo Antony will live for ever in our minds and in our hearts and still be the go to guy for advice. Proudly Chris Gounalakis

We only met Antonios once at Alessandro and Alexas wedding in Sacramento, but we were immediately taken in by his smile, his warmth and friendliness. Among all the people we met on that day, he truly stood out and we remember vividly and fondly. I am grateful we had a chance to meet, albeit much too briefly, this very honorable, generous and intelligent man. May he rest in peace. Marzia and Nicky Hillman
