My thoughts and prayers are with you all! I know what a loved man he was. Blake and your sweet family hold a special place in my family's (The Pastor's) heart, and they all have great memories and stories from when you were all neighbors. I only met him once on the beach, but I could tell what a genuine and kind man he was. I know he is already greatly missed. Sending love from Portland, Oregon!

Blake and I, along with Adam and Jason, swam together for years. Joyce and Gary offered unfailing encouragement and aid to the entire team. In this time may your hearts be comforted, encouraged and brightened by the indelible footprint Blake made in the lives of his friends and the world. Peace.

Blake and I worked together in the 90's at General Magic. I stayed in contact with him throughout the years after General Magic and was so happy when he asked me to be his assistant at Sling Media. It was the best job ever. I learned so much from him. I loved his energy, his creativity, his vision but most of all I loved his his friendship and his laugh! My heart breaks knowing that I will never hear his laugh again. Like many people, I will miss him terribly. The world has lost a one of a kind, amazing, human being. I ask the question: What is the lesson? I guess the lesson is from Blake himself and that is to live life to the fullest, contribute to humanity through kindness and love and appreciate your family and friends, just like Blake did.
