Bob and I were colleagues at Continuing Education of the Bar. His calm demeanor and compassion for the poor guided his professional life. He was a good lawyer in every sense of the word. I'm so glad to have known him.

My family joined with Bob's family to form a Havurah within Kehilla Community Synagogue a number of years ago when Ted and Rebecca were very young. Bob struck me as a quiet, dignified man with a sly sense of humor. Both my personal experience of him, and my contact with his work, left me with a high respect for his love of justice, and his devotion to seeing it done. His memory truly will "be for a blessing".

A memorial service is planned for Thursday, October 26, 10 AM, at Kehilla Community Synagogue at 1300 Grand Avenue, Piedmont. (510) 547-2424

We shall always remember his quiet demeanor and the God-like way he lived his life. We will miss him but hope he is at last at peace.
