Carole E. Zidich
07/11/1934 - 10/04/2025
Passed away peacefully at home in Daly City, at the age of 91. A graduate of Balboa High School (Class of '52) and St. Joseph's School of Nursing (Class of '55) in San Francisco. She was also a volunteer for the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary, the Girl Scouts of America, and the Our Lady of Mercy Westlake Catholic Women.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Tony, her daughter, Debra Gibbons (Harry), her cousin Jeff Madonich (Lynn) and numerous friends and other family. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed vacations to many US and Canadian locales, but especially to Hawaii, her favorite spot.
Thank you to Alliance Hospice and to Ofelia, Lydia, Bryan, and other caregivers from Newhaven In-Home Care who took such tremendous care of her.
A private Funeral Service will be held at Duggan's Serra Mortuary at her request. She will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to the charity of your choice.
