Catherine Inglis Obituary
December 6, 1935 - April 3, 2023
Born to Irish immigrant parents, John and Rosaleen Sheridan, Cathie attended St. Agnes, Presentation H.S. and Grace Ball Business College in 1957. Cathie started a family with late husband, Raymond Inglis, settled in Marin in 1971, raised two sons and cherished volunteering and being active across the community. "Chatty"Cathie loved her Irish heritage, sports and the news and rarely missed a nightly adjustment hour with Jeopardy and a gimlet.
Cathie is survived by two sons, Scott (Jennifer) of Glen Mills, PA, and Sean (Coyanne) of Naperville, IL, longtime companion, Peter Murphy, six grandchildren Madeline, Brendan, Gavin, Brodie, Meaghan & Nolan, five nieces/nephews and brother John Sheridan.
A Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m., May 18, 2023, will be celebrated at St. Isabella's Church in San Rafael, with a Reception to follow. See Marin IJ and Legacy.com for full obituary.

Heartfelt sympathy to Scott Jennifer, Sean , Cayenne, Carrie's beautiful grandchildren, lifelong friend Peter, brother Johnny, nieces, nephews and friends, many great memories of her visits to Kielty House, especially the Family visit, my wonderful visit to San Rafael, all the music, fun , chat, laughter and tears we shared down through the years, Cathie you always keept up the contact across the Atlantic, may the memories we all share help you through your grief and comfort you all in the days and months ahead, Cathie may the Angles lead you into Paradice and may you have Eternal Rest, Son as n.a. Peter just called, memories are flooding back, all those years in our very first office in San Rafael, daily stories about the "boys", and all the stories every week. Cathy was trained the "old fashioned" way, to be accurate, exacting and efficient, not sure how guys open businesses today with so little professional training for their assistants. I was lucky to have known Cathy, a real professional helper. My best to the whole family, Scott, Sean you've come a long way since I saw you last. My prayers are with your families.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I loved Cathie very much. She was like a sister to me for many many years. I will never forget all of the good times we had together with her and also with you, Scott and Sean my heart goes out to all of you. Love you
