Christodoulos Chrysanthis

Christodoulos "Chris" Anthony Chrysanthis Passed away in his home in Daly City surrounded by his family on April 10, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Cathy, and his children Alexandra (William Carrico) Anneta (George Tsapouklis) and Antonia (Darin Daskarolis). He was a loving Pappou to his grandchildren Catherine, Christina, Anastasia, Michael, Christos, and Eleni. He is also survived by his Godson Nick Maziotis and many nieces and nephews here and abroad. Chris was the 10th child born to Anthony and Alexandra Chrysanthis in Limni, Evias, Greece on Oct. 28, 1928. He came to the United States in 1955 and began his long career as a retail clerk. He enjoyed working with the public and flashing his smile when he helped his customers. In 1959 he married his wife, Cathy, and together built a home and a family. Chris enjoyed singing songs with and telling stories to his grandchildren. He was a long standing member of San Francisco's Masonic Lodge #370 on Brotherhood Way. Friends and family may visit Wednesday, April 13th from 5pm to 9pm and are invited to attend the Trisagion service at 6pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, 11am at Holy Trinity Church, 999 Brotherhood Way, San Francisco. Burial to follow at Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Colma.
