Christopher Morris Obituary
May 25, 1982 - June 15, 2022
Christopher Michael Morris passed away on June 15, 2022. He leaves behind his adored son Michael, parents Dennis and Barbara, sister Beth, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Greg.
Chris was a true San Francisco native son. He attended St. Cecilia's Grammar School where he participated in many sports and played the saxophone. He attended Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep where he played Jr. Varsity baseball and soccer and excelled in art, winning the Visual Arts Award at Graduation. He made lifelong friendships along the way.
Chris attended the University of Nevada Reno and received his degree in Criminal Justice.
His childhood dream was to join the SFPD and, after college graduation, he was accepted into the Department, Academy Class 212, Star 1916 and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was proud to be a part of the SFPD family and to serve his San Francisco community.
He lived in the City and was so proud to be able to buy a home here soon after being sworn into the Department. Chris adored his son, Michael. He shared with him his many hobbies and love of the outdoors. They enjoyed fishing, RC boats and cars, model and Lego building, bicycle riding, and just hanging out and working at Chris' workbench, watching movies, and making the occasional donut run.
We love you Chris, we miss you, and you will remain in our hearts forever.
All are invited to the Funeral Mass on Tuesday July 5, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Cecilia's Church, 2555 17th Ave. in San Francisco, There will be a Rosary at 10:30am. The family requests all those in attendance to please wear a mask at church. He will be laid to rest in a private committal at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
Donations in his memory may be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep, San Francisco Suicide Prevention Felton Institute, or your favorite charity.

I had the pleasure of working side by side with Chris for several years. His wit and sense of humor was infectious. He took his job seriously and with dedication, while maintaining a laid back attitude. Any time I ran into Chris, a smile always managed to make its way onto my face. I will truly miss him.
