DAISY QUAN Obituary


Daisy Yep Quan
Passed away suddenly while vacationing with her family at their favorite destination, Yosemite Valley. Pre-deceased by Jack, her husband of over 60 years, Daisy leaves her children Arnold, Janice (Michael), Stephen (Christine) and Jill, grandson Matthew, sisters Doris (Benjamin) and Stella and brother Willard (Lorraine).
Daisy was a 4th generation San Franciscan. She earned a B.S. in Chemistry from UC Berkeley and made a career as a chemist with Shell Oil Company. She actively supported Cal for many years, holding the position of alumni director of the Chinese Chapter of the Cal Alumni Association and as a member of the College of Chemistry Alumni Association steering team. She also served as a senior board member for the US China Foundation for International Exchanges.
