We are so very sad to say goodbye to Dan. It seems unreal, really, as he was such an important person in our family, and especially for Kevin. He will always remain in our hearts as the person who lifted us up when we needed it most and got Kevin started in insurance. We are sending love to Mary Lou, the kids and to Steve. We'll be there June 23 to show our respects but would love to know if there were more we could do. Lots of love from the Healy Family

I am so very saddened to read of Dan's passing. What a lovely and kind man he was. I had not seen him for many years, but the kindness and love that Dan and Mary Lou extended to me and my family has always remained closed to my heart. I will keep Mary Lou and Dan's entire family in my prayers. My sincerest condolences. Maureen Massoletti

It's been many years since we've seen Dan as we moved to Novato in 1993. Dan and Mary Lu were great friends of ours. We met Mary Lou and Dan due to Josie and our daughter Sabrina being great friends. I will never forget when Dan called on October 17, 1989 to ask me to call Reno to cancel practice. I thought it was because of the Bay Bridge World Series. However, Dan said turn on the TV, the Bay Bridge and Freeways have collapsed. Dan was right, practice was cancelled. Dan was always thinking of other people!
My condolences also go out to my dear high school friend Margie, Dan's Sister! I'm Pat (Castelan) Rossi from Mercy High.

Dan was so much a part of our family, especially when our kids were younger. He had a unique way of making everyone feel special and we always knew we could count on him in time of need. He will be missed but in our hearts forever.
