May 3, 1931 - February 20, 2021
Dan's soul passed peacefully at home on 2/20/21 at age 89.
Beloved husband of Nancy, loving father of Dan III, Tim, Ken(Laurie) & Janet(Rick); grandfather of Daniel IV, Nicole(Esan), Ryan(Audrey), Kaitlyn, Sammi; great-grandfather of Shay.
Brothers Tom Sr(Diane) and Michael(Mary).
Nieces and nephews Melanie, Charlene, Darlene, Tom Jr, Jill, Philip, Jenna and Sara.
Lifelong member of St. Paul's Parish, Polytechnic H.S./Alumni, Knights of Columbus, Elks & Godfather's. Past president of Presentation Father's Club & donated "Shea Memorial Urinal" (ref: Herb Caen). Dan was thrilled to be the SF Giants' Millionth Fan.
Proud 70-yr member of Local 38 Plumbers' Union Dan gave of his time and talents to many projects including the Old Mission Project.
Dan had a zest for life and will be remembered for his sense of humor and jovial spirit. He was loved by his family and many friends - lifelong pals Pat, Rudy & Art.
The family will be holding a remembrance at a later date.

My sincere condolences to all the Shea Family. I have many great memories living across the street from them on Everson Street in the mid 1960's and 1970's. Mr. Shea was always pretty patient with all the neighborhood kids!
