Christy,
I am shocked to have stumbled across this news. As I have been away from the SFUSD for a few years, and have not had the opportunity to keep up with you, memories of hearing about the wonderful travels of you and your husband remain in my mind. My thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.

Cristy,
I know how difficult this must be for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray God for strength to you as you go on through life without your special one, Dave.

David was truly a leader among San Francisco's accountants and fellow city employees. He was president of IFPTE Local 21's Accountants & Auditors chapter and represented the union to the City and School District and at International conventions. A good friend; thoughtful, solid and thoroughly dependable.

Man, I was looking forward to Uncle Dave and Tita Christy's visit in Seattle later this year. Our last get-together was on the most gorgeous day last summer overlooking the Puget Sound while enjoying a delightful brunch. Hope you're having a cold one with Bruce, Uncle Dave.

Uncle David,

I didn't even get to say "good bye" to you! Everything happened so quickly and you passed away in the wee hours of the night. I guess you didn't want to stir up drama and drag your loved ones out of bed. You have always been the low-maintanence type of guy, never want to inconveniece anyone. The memories of you will always be the happy times, from childhood when you would come visit our home and bring all the treats and toys to recent times when you would stop by my mom's house just to hang out and eat chinese take-out. I will always keep you in my thoughts and I will miss you immensely.

Love,
