David Harvey Charlson was "the party". A larger than life character who lived life on his own terms and brought smiles to almost everyone he ever touched. He died on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2013 due to complications associated with staph infection and liver disease. David was one of the early pioneers of the executive search profession. His meteoric rise became the envy of an industry and the pattern by which many attempted to emulate.
David has friends who have become his family and their outpouring of love and concern in this difficult time has been inspiring and faith re-affirming.
David leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Michal, his son Adam, his daughter Janice, and his two wonderful grandsons, Ryan and Brandon. We will miss you dearly David. Godspeed on the next leg of your journey.

David, we laughed for 30 years, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Newport Beach, Palm Desert, DC, PA and Tiburon. We skied the powder at Alta and hacked away on the golf courses in the Desert. We dined in the finest restaurants and shared maximum grins! You leave behind Adam, a super star in Executive Search and your wonderful wife Michal who shared a very special love for you. Keep your eye on the ball, slow down your back swing and only one mulligan per nine holes, journey on my friend!
