Deborah Eileen Lynch
10/19/1955 - 10/05/2025
With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Deborah (Debbie) Lynch, a devoted mother, adored wife, cherished sister, and loyal friend, whose warmth, laughter, and compassion touched the lives of everyone she met.
Born and raised in Pacifica, Debbie was the beloved daughter of Anne and Patrick Young and the loving sister of William and John Young, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Kevin Lynch, the love of her life and partner in countless adventures.
A devoted mother, Debbie's greatest joy was her daughter, Mary Lynch, whom she loved beyond measure. Debbie loved going to volleyball tournaments with her daughter, visiting her in Orange County, and spending Sundays with her on weekly adventures. The two of them were very close and shared a precious bond.
Debbie was a proud graduate of Saint Paul's High School in San Francisco, where she formed lifelong friendships and developed the joyful spirit that defined her life. She carried that same kindness and curiosity into every stage of her journey, building a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and connection.
Debbie had a successful career at State Farm for over 40 years. Debbie made some of her best lifelong friends while at State Farm, and the relationships have stood the test of time.
Debbie found great joy in her community, especially through her wine club in Pacifica at Grape in the Fog, where she created treasured memories and lifelong bonds. She delighted in visiting friends she had met across every chapter of her life, always showing up with warmth, humor, and a deep appreciation for the people she held dear.
Above all, Debbie will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her daughter, and her friends. She will be remembered for the kindness and light she brought into every room. Her laughter, generosity, and steadfast spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Though our hearts are heavy with her absence, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, parents, and multiple family members, and that her love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
May her memory be a blessing and her spirit a guiding light.
Friends are invited to visit on Thursday, October 9th at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue in Daly City beginning at 4pm where a Rosary will begin at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 10th at 12:30pm at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 2555 17th Ave. in San Francisco. Debbie will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
