She was born December 6, 1953 in San Francisco to Francis and Mary Bouey; the only daughter out of 5 children. She died November 2, 2013 in San Francisco surrounded by her family.
What she was most proud of in her life was being a mother and grandmother. Nothing brought her more joy than that. She smiled from ear to ear when any of them were around. She spent many years caring for others and was deeply gratified by this. She wore her heart on her sleeve and would befriend almost anyone. She had a huge heart and was kind to everyone and that is something she will be remembered for.
She is survived by her two beautiful children Mike (Natalie) and Lexie (Brian), 3 grandchildren Aubrey, Sidney, and Bradley, her mother Mary and four brothers Mark, Noel, Brendan, and Martin. She has been reunited in heaven with her father Frank, who died in 1993.
Family and friends are invited to attend the wake at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City on Friday November 8, 2013 with visitation from 3-7pm and a prayer service and reflections at 7pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anne of the Sunset Church in San Francisco on Saturday November 9, 2013 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Deirdre's name to the ALS Association (www.alsa.org).

Her children will be embraced with love by all who knew Deidre. Thanks to. Frank and Mary for my dearest friends, Deidre and Brendan. Peace and love to the Bouey family from the Riveros.

Aloha oe, dearest Deirdre. You're flying with angels, now, and enjoying the view, I'm sure! You are a special guardian now, not only of your children and grandchildren, but of your dear mother and brothers and the whole clan! I trust you will 'tuck' your hanai aunties, uncles and 'siblings' in your care, too. Rest in peace. Aunty Dottie

I was shocked to see dear Deirdre's
obituary. She was way too young to die. May she now rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences go to her wonderful children, her mom, and her whole family.
Unfortunately, I cannot attend her services due to other commitments. But you will be in my thoughts and payers as you mourn the loss of dear Deirdre.
Lovingly,
Sister Esther, formerly of St. Anne's.
