Dear Don,
I am sad to hear that Dorothy passed away. Though Afsoon and I only knew your mother for less than a year, we quickly came to appreciate her refreshingly direct manner, her bright, witty verve and most of all her lively spark for life. She made us very happy. May she smile in her rest.

Dear Don:
Words cannot adequately express our sadness at this time. Your mother was a wonderful soul, and we know that she is enjoying God's deep, eternal love in a far better place. She may be physically gone, but now she is with you forever, as she is in your heart, along with God's comforting love and compassion.
With friendship and love,
Ugo, Maria and Michael Pignati

Dear Donald;
At this time of mourning we often feel that wwe are distant from those we love. Actually, they are united with us now more than ever. United in God's own love they are free of the restraints of human condition. Death does not separate us from those we love. It deepens our union with God and with each other. Your mother was always so friendly and kind to us when we were together. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely and with love,

Robert Christian

Dorothy knew how to take the punches that life deals out, but she was careful not to punch back. She grew in her faith, especially as she ailed, and she was able to accept the love that was offered her, especially God's. May God free her from anything that would hinder her enjoyment of His Kingdom of justice, love and peace.

Sincerely,
Bob Christian, O.P.
