EDWARD KALLINS Obituary

Edward I Kallins Born 1921, grew up in his beloved Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II and upon his return he married Beatrice. They lived in Roslyn Estates, Long Island, Jupiter Beach, Florida and San Francisco. They were married for 70 years. Ed laughed and went out for good meals in his adopted city of San Francisco up until recently. He died peacefully on May 14 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife and their two daughters Marilyn Kallins (Tim Johnson) and Maureen Kallins (Charles Gretsch) and three grandchildren Kati Kallins, Chazz and Jack Gretsch. His wonderful son Neil preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at the Jewish Home of San Francisco, Tuesday, June 19 at 3 PM. In lieu of gifts please send donations to the Jewish Home of San Francisco, 302 Silver Avenue, SF, CA, 94112, in his name.

Maureen and Family, My deepest condolences on the passing of your dear, dear father, one of life'e major milestones. Married 70 years, God Bless him and your family. One of the good guys, indeed.
