Edward Light Obituary

Edward M. Light At rest on March 15th, 2010 at the age of 94. Devoted husband of the late Rose. Proud veteran of the Army, who served in World War II. Always the gentleman, he shared his passions of accounting and reading as a dedicated volunteer of the San Francisco Senior Center, Downtown Branch for 20 years and the Friends of the Library for 23 years. He generously supported numerous organizations, including the Southern Poverty Law Center. He is survived by his loving nephews Mark, Bob and Neil and nieces Caren, Lynne and Joyce; grandnieces Ilysa, Lara, Jessica and Lauren and grandnephews Jake and Matthew. The family would like to thank his kind caregiver Elva, the staff of the Broadmoor, and the dedicated staff at the Community Living Center of the SF VA Medical Center in San Francisco for a peaceful passage. No services. Interment in Southern California with his beloved Rose.
