94, passed away March 5, 2014 in San Rafael, CA. She was born in Mobile, Ala., the daughter of Elizabeth Tingley and Frank Howard Perry. Liz received a B.A. from Auburn University and did graduate work in Social Welfare at the University of North Carolina. While working for the Red Cross Liz met and married Lenard Mayrisch, Jr. who was stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia.
After the war, Liz and Len moved to Mill Valley where she worked for the California State Department of Employment. Liz was active in P.T.A. and Little League and loved relaxing with family and friends at Perry Gulch Ranch in Navarro.
Liz was a resident of Aldersly in San Rafael for four years. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Aldersly. Liz is survived by three children: Lenard Mayrisch III (Mary), Howard Perry Mayrisch (Martha), Robin Andrae (Tom), and four grandchildren: Ashley, Braeden, Patrick and Anna Mayrisch. A private service was held at Fernwood Cemetery on Friday March 14, 2014.
