Elizabeth Passanisi Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Passanisi was born September 28,1920 and died at age of 104 June 23,2025. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Passanisi, her parents John and Katarzna Ziemba and sister Katherine Struckmeyer. Betty grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended St. Bridget's grade school and graduated from South High School. In her 30's she moved to San Francisco and worked for many years as a city clerk. She met and married her husband Joe. They loved to dance and travel. Betty loved her Catholic faith, reading, doing yoga, and volunteering at SF museums. Betty had a heart that held space for everyone and had the ability to make others unconditionally loved. Rest in Peace, Betty.
Betty's Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 10am at Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption, 1111 Gough Street, San Francisco. Burial following church service will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
