Dear Patty, Toni and Kay,
I would have come to your mother's services if I had known in time. After hearing the news today, I am having many memories. I picture your Dad holding your lovely Mom once more in heaven. I have always had fond memories of our dear Dr. Allegrini and can almost hear his voice; he took such good care of us all those childhood years. What a gentle man! My beloved Aunt Erma will see her dear friend once again. My sister Susie died June 25th of last year. I know she will be rejoicing with Estelle too. Love and prayers,

Dear Patty, Toni & Kay,
I am so very sorry for your loss! Your Mom was always so charming, elegant and delightfully energetic! Although it has been several years since I last saw her, I remember her beautiful smile. Richard said he saw her and we were just recently sharing some fond memories of the Allegrini family. Our love and prayers are with you. Sorry I will be unable to attend the celebration for your lovely Mother. It would be wonderful to see you. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

Dearest Patty & sisters:
I quite simply adored your mom, Estelle Allegrini, even tho' I hardly ever got to see her! But WHAT FUN when we did get together! I always looked forward to her Christmas card....seems like such a simple thing, but was so meaningful...and I'll miss not getting them. You 3 girls had a great mother -- and you had her for 40 years more than my sisters and I had ours. How blessed you were! I'm remembering her and you in my thoughts & prayers. Ciao & hugs, Anne

Dear Patty, I am very sorry about Estelle. I know that her illness though relatively short, was both very hard for her and your sisters, especially for her, one who had loved her life and participated to the fullest. The death notice provides a wonderful picture of her.Perhaps you could remember for your sisters, with good humor, the time she was visiting Santa Clara and wanted to show the newly completed Graham Hall to the Regents. Tell of how surprised she was as she opened the door to your bedroom. Good thoughts and prayers to you, Patty and to your family. love, Mary

Estelle loved life and people more than anybody I know. She was wonderful to all of Patty's friends over these many years, and a great influence on all of us.None of us will ever forget her sense of style, elegant manners, and fantastic sense of humor.
