Frances Cresci Obituary

Frances B. Cresci Died May 10, 2010 peacefully in her home in Sonoma. A memorial service will be held at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa St. ,Sonoma, CA 95476 on May 22, 2010 at 11 a.m.. Frances was born in San Francisco on May 18, 1932 to Joseph and Annie Asaro. She grew up in North Beach amongst a large extended family. She was married to the late John Anthony Cresci in 1952 at St. Peter and Paul's Church in S.F. She was a devoted mother, wife and friend. Frances welcomed all into her home and blessed everyone with abundance of food and laughter. She is survived by her daughters Debi and Joni Cresci., and her siblings Tony Asaro, Angie Clemons , Marie Parker and the late Joe Asaro and Vera Anderson. She was the adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. Frances moved to Sonoma in 1988 and worked several years at the Hallmark Store where she made many friends. She will be especially remembered for her kind heart, quick wit and loving spirit. A special thank you to Hospice by the Bay and all compassionate caregivers, family and friends who walked along with Frances during this journey. She will be greatly missed. I am really sorry to hear of your Loss. I remember Frances growing up. I too was part of the Cresci Clan. My Sister Theresa was married to Joe Cresci many years ago. I remember Francis fondly.
