Fred Maguire Obituary

Fred Maguire Passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the age of 74 years. He was born January 5, 1936 to Frederick and Margaret (Stafford) Maguire in San Francisco. Fred graduated high school from Bellarmine College Prep. and continued his education receiving a bachelor of science degree from Santa Clara University and a law degree from Georgetown University. Fred practiced law in San Francisco and the Bay Area for 40 years. He retired to Sutter Creek in 2001 looking for a slower pace of life and continue his passionate support of the 49er's and Giants. He was survived by his sons, Fred Maguire and wife, Holly of Santa Clara, Bob Maguire and wife, Ellen of San Jose, Michael Maguire of Templeton, CA; grandchildren, Scott, Christy, Lindsey, and Connor Maguire. Friends are invited to attend a visitation Friday, June 4 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sutter Creek. A mass of Christian burial will follow the visitation at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be in the Sutter Creek Catholic Cemetery in Sutter Creek. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, P.O. Box 127, Sutter Creek, CA 95685. Condolences may be offered to the family, via e-mail, at [email protected] Arrangements have been entrusted to Daneri Mortuary in Jackson.
