Fred and I were co-chairs of the Real Estate Counselors in San Francisco. I always enjoyed working with him on various real estate projects. I had retired in 09 and pretty much left the day-to-day real estate world in SF, spending quality time with my nine grand kids. So since I have been out of touch, I Googled and learned this unfortunate news. Fred was a true gentleman and colleague.

Fred was a gentleman and an absolute joy to work with on the BOMA codes committee and I will miss him dearly. I am so sorry to his family and friends, what a great man and example to us all.

Fred has been a great mentor to me for the past 30 years; his passing leaves a huge void in my life. I will miss our lunches very much...

John Burton and I so enjoyed working with Fred on the China Basin building. He brought much humor and insight to the planning process. I am very sorry I haven't had the opportunity to see Fred since I began working internationally 18 years ago. I miss him!

I will truly miss my dear Mr. Freund who I have known for 43 years and my employer of 25 years in real estate. He will always be in my heart and will never be forgotten. He was truly a very wonderful man and an honor to have known.
