My heartfelt condolences to Gail´s "family" and "family of friends"
I came to know Gail in the 80´s through daughter Holly. She was Holly´s biggest cheerleader; providing unconditional love, encouragement and support through every chapter of Holly´s life. It has been beautiful watching the role reversal these past years as Holly was Gail´s health advocate and cheerleader, providing unconditional love and encouragement and emotional support. Flying across the country on a regular basis to be there for Gail.
Genuine, caring and generous are a few words that come to mind when I think of Gail. She showered all with love, laughter and of course her worldly insights. I have fond memories of outings with Gail as well as her beautifully written notes.
I was lucky to have had a quality visit with Gail this past October at her granddaughter Mackenzie´s wedding. She will be missed but not forgotten.
With love and prayers,
Debbie

To the Family of Gail Bliss Moore:
Gail was a dear friend to me for 50 years this year. We met at the Orrick law firm in 1975 and remained close these many years. I offer all of Gail's family my most heartfelt condolences as I sense how important she was to all of you. She was one in a million and I am so grateful for all we were able to share for decades. Her love of books, art, music, gardening and people was unique,endearing and inspirational. I am at a loss for words, but I am remembering a song she liked that Elton John sang in the 1970's called Love Song," the chorus of which says
"Love is the open in door;
Love is what we came here for;
Noone could offer you more;
Do you know what I mean?
Have your eyes really seen?"
Dear Gail was always about love and she showered us all with her laughter, charm and grace and LOVE. Perhaps that's why she will always live in our hearts. May God bless her and all of her family and many friends.
In loving memory and gratitude,
Susan Roberts
