George Harrison Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of both George Harrison, and his wife, Hiroko Harrison. George passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 91 years, and Hiroko Harrison passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 88 years. George and Hiroko Harrison were longtime residents of the San Mateo and Foster City communities. George worked in the bakery industry, and Hiroko was a hair stylist. George and Hiroko have a surviving son, Robert Harrison, of Honolulu, Hawaii.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Prostate Cancer Foundation in George and Hiroko's name, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, Calif., 90401.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26, at 11 a.m., at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 S El Camino Real, San Mateo, Calif. 94402. There will be a reception to follow at a different location.

I remember Hiroko working at my grandmother Kim's beauty shop on B street when I was growing up. She was always so nice and kind to me. I know my grandmother and she stayed in touch until they both retired. I am so sorry for the loss of Hiroko and George.

George was a great friend as I knew George for over 30 years. Soft spoken and a true gentleman. Hiroko was always kind to me whenever I would drop by their home. As George said to me when he let me know Hiroko passed away "I had the better end of the deal (Marriage) these past 60+ years. She was a great wife." Will miss our coffee time George and talking about weightlifting and your experience during the Korean War and your career in the bakery business.
