I was shocked at the loss of George! He was always so very alive! Although I didn't get to see much of George in recent years, he has a special "star" in my memories of the good times we shared together at Cal and at our reunions.
HE WAS SO SPECIAL to everyone!
I send you and his family my deepest condolences during this time of loss..
I do plan to be at the memorial services.
Sincerely,
Nancy

Betsy, I am so very sorry to hear of George's passing. George Link was shinning example of what was best about the Univeristy of California, Berkeley. He was a leader of his generation. He played a critical role in restoring the University of California after the turmoil of the 1960's. He was a gifted and nationally respected lawyer, a loving father and husband, and an example to all of us who were privileged to learn from his example. His loss is felt deeply and personally by me and I just wish I would have had a chance to say goodbye to him. I know words cannot console you. I send my love to you and your family. mike aguirre (619) 980 2248
