Dec. 12, 1952- Dec. 22, 2013
Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on December 22, 2013. (Born on December 12, 1952). He was a strong believer in God, family and friends. He drove a taxi cab in San Francisco for over 30 years and enjoyed meeting and talking to people from all walks of life. He retired this year, bought a sailboat and was going to buy some property to build a cabin on. He enjoyed studying our Father's words on a daily basis with Pastor Arnold Murray (Sheperds Chapel), high school football, and the outdoors. George is survived by his mother, May; sister, Marilyn; brother, Larry; nephew, Dennis; niece, Lisa. May his spirit live forever in our hearts.

George,
I only knew you for 3 great years and I can't believe you're away sailing on the heavens oceans.
I drove #2 for 3 years and on Saturday afternoons I remember you telling me about how a clean cab is your welcome mat to your customers. It's about business. Thanks!
I remember you telling me about the sailing classes you had taken, and your new sail boat and when you retire you wanted to sail around the world.
You always had given me great advice and leadership towards the taxi job.
George I miss you and our talks on Saturdays!

George, I'm so sorry to hear the news that you passed away so suddenly. We've been friends for a long time and even though we didn't see each other, once we did connect we never stopped talking. You'll be greatly missed my friend, may you rest in peace. Say hello to Rick and Gary! We love you "Moose"!
Always, Joe & Tessie

George was a childhood friend growing up together in the Richmond district in SF. I recently spoke to him in November and he shared his excitement at the prospect of picking up his final retirement check and entertaining the options available to him. He was articulate , humorous, optimistic, all those qualities I never was aware of until you are old enough to appreciate them. I called him Christmas day and I was surprised that he never returned my call. My sympathies to his family and will keep you in my prayers.
