Grace Takamoto Obituary

Grace Keiko Takamoto

Passed away peacefully on August 23, 2016 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Minoru Takamoto; loving mother and mother-in-law to daughter Diane and her husband Emad; caring grandmother to Adam.

Grace was born in Salinas, California and moved to San Francisco in 1948 after graduating from high school. She worked for Pacific Bell Telephone Company for 44 years up until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the Pacific Bell Pioneers. She enjoyed retirement and traveling with her husband while living in San Francisco. Grace loved animals (especially cats) and exercising daily in Golden Gate Park with other retiree friends for many years. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with family.

Friends may attend a visitation on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 10:00am to 10:30am at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City, followed by a small service at 10:30am. The Committal will be held privately at the family's request. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Kokoro Assisted Living, 1881 Bush Street, San Francisco, CA. 94109. Online Condolences may be made at www.duggansserra.com.
