Hello Lizzie, Susie and Gloria, I just came across this obituary and am sorry to hear of Hal´s passing. I was Googling his name because I was hoping to find your family. I´ve been going through old photos and found some of your dad, Lee with his father and grandfather, and another of your grandfather and Susie Belle. Also another one of your grandfather in the snow on the Berkeley hills. If you would like to have these photos you can email me at [email protected]
I hope you are all doing well. Have you kept up with horses? Jennifer

In 1983 Hal told me more than once he DID NOT want to grow old. So he didn't. He is probably much happier now and for sure in a better place. I rode horses with him in Pleasanton California and I was his tax man for many years.

A cowboy through and through, tough, wiry, but with a gentle heart. I'll miss you, Hal, until I see you and Peter again.

You will be missed cowboy, one of the best that sat in a saddle. RIP my friend!
