Helen Wong Obituary

Helen Wong Age 83, of San Francisco, CA, died peacefully on July 15, 2011. She was born in southern China and raised in Hong Kong. In 1948, she married Chun Ming Wong, immigrated to the U.S. and became a life long resident of San Francisco. They operated a laundry and then a grocery until retiring in 1970. She loved to garden, sew/knit, and travel. She was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her children Allen Ng (Sharon); Albert Wong (Gail); Elyse Togioka (Gene); and grandchildren, Jennifer Ng and Christine and Samantha Wong. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 30 at 11:15 am with visitation starting at 10:45 am at Cypress Lawn Funeral Home in Colma, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Self Help for the Elderly.

Allen, so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I never met her, but she is of my parents generation so I kinda 'know' her. You were lucky to have shared her life for so long. You're in our thoughts and hearts.
