So sorry to hear of the death of such a grand San Franciscan.
I first met Mrs. Bixby, (Jane), when I was hired at Magnins as a young stock boy by Heleln Joan Brier in the early 1960's
Wonderful San Francisco memories.
Mrs. Bixby and I would talk about the San Francisco in its present and when she was a young girl. She and my dad even double dated as "young college kids".
She ran a tough departmet at Magnins and many people became successful due to her tutelage coupled with her attention to every detail.
The older I become the more I appreciate learning from such grand people as Mrs Bixby.

My sympathies to the family. I remember Jane Bixby from I Magnin - she was one of the reasons I Magnin's was the great store it was.
