Born in Angouleme, France on 11-24-30. JP met his late wife, Arlene in Chicago. They settled in Kensington where they raised 2 children, Christopher and Leslie. JP had a successful Veterinary practice for 43 years, which was a source of pride and joy for him. He had a great love of animals and nature. He was particularily fond of Yosemite Valley and the Sierra's, where many family trips took place. He spent his final years in Carmel. After a battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully on 2-25-14 surrounded by loved ones. JP was a kind, honest and generous man who was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Dr Cucuel neutered my male cat in the 1960's. I remember him and quote him often because when I expressed some hesitation, because neutering was not so understood at that time, he said to me "Don't worry, I can make him a prosthesis" Humor and comfort I never forgot.
