John Gavigan Obituary

John K. Gavigan In San Francisco on May 4, 2011 at the age of 86 yrs, Dearly beloved husband of the late Denise Gavigan. Great friend and confidant to his son Christopher. Dear brother of Mark and Frank Gavigan and Rita Browne. Also survived by nephews and nieces. A native of Philadelphia, PA and a longtime resident of San Francisco. A veteran of the U.S. Army WWII, participating in the landing at Normandy, France and was a member of the U.S. Intelligence. Friends are invited to attend the Celebration of a Funeral Mass at the Church of Notre Dame des Victoires at 10AM on Tuesday May 10 followed by the Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery. McAvoy-O'Hara Co.
