I worked with John at QFI in the70"s. John was assistant manager and I worked in the pizza dept., I was about 21 then and John was always very helpful. John was a great boss, but a better husband and father. He always brought his daughters to the store and they used make pizza boxes for us. It was there first job and he was very proud of them. God bless the Sans family, my prayers are with you.

Words fail me at times like this however John was a real class act who enjoyed life and was quick to see the humor in everything and everybody. He will be missed.

I grew up across the street from John and back when I was a wild kid in my teens he set me straight when I needed it. When I was approaching middle age John would tell me very cool stories about my father (whom passed when I was 11) that nobody but a good friend would know. John always left me with a smile on my face if not laughing uncontrollably. He even took me out on the course for my first ever round, the balls were flying all over the place but he was able to get me to relax and by the 12th or so hole he had me keeping it on the fairway, that must have been a long day for him. This neighborhood will never be the same without John and I will never ever forget my “very, very cool neighbor”.

Its saddens me to see you go John, my condolences to the family and God bless.

Only being a member of the Sharp Parks Men's Club for about a year and a half, I didn't know John as well as some of you.
John was always a pleasant guy and he NEVER shut me out when I showed up at Sharp without a tee time, he always found a way to find me in.
My sympathy and prayers are with John's family.
Godspeed John and god bless.

John will forever be known to my daughters as "Grandpa Golf" because he would always treat them like one of his own grandkids...he was that kind of man. My memories include only John's smiles with his wife and family during some family get-together. My love and prayers are with you at this time.

I will always remember John for his kind words of encouragement, his wit and his sense of humor, but above all, I will remember John for being the wonderful human being that he was. He had that special manner that made everyone feel welcome at Sharp, even if he was under stress. I am quite sure this is a reason why some of us kept coming back to Sharp, even when we have moved away. He will certainly be missed.

I had the pleasure of spending a number of hours over the years putting with John, while all comments regarding the outcome were not always appropriate for this audience they were always terms of endearment. I'll
miss those days, my sympathy to all.

I had the great pleasure of knowing John from both his days at Cypress Golf Course & Sharp Park. In fact, John convinced me to Marshall at Sharp Park and eventually join the Mens Club. He was always a great guy to see on Fridays & Saturdays. I'm going to miss him and Sharp Park won't be the same without him. God Speed John Sans and hit em straight!

It's not fair that the best always seem to leave us early. John was one of those individuals. John always had time for his family and friends. He was blessed with the gift of wit and wisdom and never hesitated to share it with us. He will be sadly missed by all of us. Our love and prayers go out to his wife and family during this sad time. God Bless You, John Sans.

John's presence as both starter and friend of those who played and supported Sharp Park in times both good and bad will be sorely missed. It was no accident that Saturday morning's became something far more than just a round. Thanks John, for all the laughs and words of wisdom.

John was a good friend of my late husband, Bob Slyter. They shared many laughs, stories and a lot of good times on the golf course. I used to refer to John as our "Mitch Miller of the greens". He will live on in our hearts forever.

Jack Hesotian

John was a great guy, anyone who played friday or saturday will tell you that. Behind the starters desk John was courtious, and respectful to all, which is not an easy task on a crowded saturday. We all enjoyed when John could break away from the desk for a few moments and share in our conquests and defeats after the round. I will miss John, but am thankful to have know him for the few years that I did, and will always remember him for his wit, humor and cool demeanor.

John was one of the nicest guys I had the pleasure to have known. I saw John all the time at Sharps and had the special time of being able to have played golf with him a few times at various places.
John always had great stories to tell and always kept everyone entertained.
I really feel like I too have lost someone from my Sharp Park family and please know that my deepest sorrow and sympathy are with you his family members.

We'll always remember John for his ability to make you smile and most times laugh. He had a big family and the big loving arms to embrace them all.
As his family grows you will be able to see John in his grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Most of all, you'll have memories that will comfort you.
