I was just a little kid when Jack lived across the street. My memory of him is when he bought a new Chevy Corvair with engine in the rear. He was showing it off and let me ride in it. I just remember he was a nice guy to me.

"Jack" was my neighbor across Vale Avenue growing up. We both ended up at Cal and he invited me to drive to Pasadena with him to watch the 1959 Rose Bowl. Great time, even though we lost. He was always so much more mature, great sense of humor and a dedicated (bright) student. I would run into him on Market Street when he worked for Standard Oil. Very sorry to read about his passing.
