Papa Joe was a very sweet man. He and Jean always showed the greatest kindness to me. I should be so lucky to live a life and have the family he did. Love and respect to you Joe.

I had the honor of working with Joe for many years. He was so funny and was such a gentleman with a great laugh. He was so generous and he loved his family. I loved hearing about the family vacations and to get an update on all of the movies he had seen with his wife. You will be missed! There will never be another one like you.

I was sorry to learn of the passing of Joe. I was getting set for his 90th. birthday party. I've known Joe since around 1985 when I built the fences at his house in San Rafael. I always admired his calmness even when thing were hectic trying to get the house on Winged Foot in order. I was also sorry that he missed the Niners having such a great season after such a long drought. I hope I run into him in the next life. He was like a second father to me.

I first met Joe 35 years ago. Throughout our professional association, he was always first rate, a highly knowledgeable, skillful attorney, certainly one of the best in his field. Above all, however, he was definitely "a good guy."

I knew Joe during the Korean War. He was a great guy. We had a reunion about ten years ago. I will miss him.

My heart is heavy, but my memories joyous. My deepest heartfelt sympathy for the D'Andre family during this time of loss. I was honored to get to know Mr. D'Andre when I moved to the Bay Area, and embraced his kindness, knowledge, grace, humor and professionalism. What an exceptional man. Prayers, love and light.

Mr. Joe D'Andre, I admired you most for your ability to treat everyone you met with grace, respect and warmness. You never put on any airs or graces. You were just a gracefully happy man who left everyone feeling the same. You will be greatly missed here on earth and affectionately welcomed in heaven.
