Joe passed away at his home with the sun shining through and loved ones near his side. He was born and raised in San Francisco's Potrero Hill. Joe was the eldest of four children to parents Joseph and Mariana Rodriguez. Predeceased by Mervin, Michael and Annette. He graduated from Commerce High School where he met his true love, Rosemarie. They were happily married for 72 years before her passing last year. Shortly, after they were married Joe was drafted into the Army during the Korean war where he served for two years. When he returned, they moved to Daly City where they raised their three sons. Jim (Donna), John (Julie), Predeceased by Joey (Lynn). A few years later, Joe started his own business and opened Precision Auto Repair. Eventually all three sons started working there. Today the business is still going strong and is family owned and operated. Fishing and water skiing were two of Joe's favorite things. Being with his grandchildren meant the world and summers were filled with making many memories, at Clear Lake. Grandkids, Joshua, Justin, Jovanni, Brianna, Jenny, Jiacomo and Juliano.
There will be a Private Memorial. Joe will rest in peace in Colma at the Italian Cemetery, with his wife. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his name.

Dear Jim, John, and all of the Rodriguez family:
I am sorry for your loss of your much loved Poppa, who has been at the head of the family for so long. He and Rosemarie accomplished an astonishing amount in their life, and were exceptional in their care for those in the family who were in need of help. I hope that celebrating them and their gifts and the memories you cherish is a counterbalance to your sense of loss. Rory Campbell
