KATHLEEN SCOTT Obituary

Kathleen Elizabeth Davis Scott "Keite" April 24, 1975 - May 7, 2012 Keite passed away peacefully in San Francisco after a brief illness. She was an accomplished actress, singer, performing in many productions in the Bay Area. All who knew her loved her as a sweet, funny, loving, and spirited woman. She is survived by her husband Kenny Scott, her parents Mike and Judie Davis (of Belmont), her brother Sven Davis (of Santa Cruz), and her brother Johnny Davis (of Playa del Rey). A special thank you to the staff at San Francisco General Hospital. There will be a Memorial Celebration of Keite's life on May 20, 2012 at Barrett Community Center, 1835 Belburn Drive, Belmont from 1 - 4. Please bring pictures and stories to share. In lieu of flowers you may send donations to California Theater Center (ctcinc.org), Second Harvest, or the charity of your choice. I was lucky enough to be in the Candide chorus every night when Keite played the best damn Cunegonde the world has ever seen. She was magical, spirited, kind, awesome, and funny. And her singing voice was angelic!!! I only just found out last night about her passing. Her talent was a light to so many of us! I'm so sorry for the Scott/Davis families, and my heart hopes for their peace. May we hear her laugh and see her smile in our hearts forever. Such a sad loss! :-(
Bon Voyage, Keite!

I knew Keite when I lived in the Bay Area but we had lost touch, unfortunately. Although I never met Kenny or her family, I'm shocked to her about her passing and you have my deepest condolences.

I just found out this weekend about Keite's passing and am deeply saddened. She and I had lost touch in recent years, but I thought of her often. She was a bright spark in the world, which is dimmer for her having passed.

As I sit here going through all of the Bus Barn photos of Keite, my heart hurts. I keep reliving those moments with her on and offstage, see that twinkle in her eye and hear that glorious voice. It's such a loss to us all, but especially Kenny, the Davis family and the Scotts. We mourn with you. I found this photo today. She looked so beautiful during this photo shoot, I thought I would share it. Much love to you, my girl. Heaven is now a much more beautiful place.

My condolences to you all.
I wish I could have met Keite. I was well acquainted with her great grandmother, Sanna, who was my grandfather's sister.

Ken:

She was obviously so happy with you. I remember her telling me the story of how she first met you and ended up at your apartment and never left. Her eyes lit up talking about it. And I will always have the great memory of her face and laughter at Rick and my wedding which makes me smile every time. With all the smiles and laughter she obviously brought to so many people she won't ever be forgotten. I know how much you were there for her and she knew it too.
