Kevin O'Connell Obituary
January 17, 1936 - September 18, 2017
A native of San Francisco and longtime resident of Hillsborough, Kevin attended Archbishop Riordan High School, San Francisco City College, University of Pennsylvania The Wharton School of Business and served in the US Army. He was an active member of the Bohemian Club, St. Francis Yacht Club, Royal Cork Yacht Club and Transpacific Yacht Club. Kevin also held various positions as Trustee Emeritus of the Coast Guard Foundation, Lone Sailor Memorial and Prior Emeritus of the International Order of St. Hubertus.Survived by wife Robin; sons Tomlinson Daniel of Wichita, KS & Kevin Blair (Jill) of Anderson, CA; grandchildren: Kevin Anthony II & Hailey MaKenzie; and extended family in California and Ireland.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kevin's memory to Mission Hospice, 1670 S. Amphlett Blvd.,#300, San Mateo, CA 94402.

Kevin was one of the greatest Commodores of the St Francis Yacht Club. He left big shoes to fill for all those who followed. He was a dear friend of mine and his love for the Club and sailboat racing will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
